Recognised specialists from the economic, legal and international political world of 11 nationalities and 12 universities meeting in Barcelona proposed the setting up of a new framework of rules in order to regulate the globalised economy and to foresee new models for forecasting in order to avoid new economic and financial crises such as the current one. These are the main conclusions of the IV International Conference of the Franco-Australian Centre for International Research in Management (Facirem) which under the title of “Globalisation and Government”, was held by the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras (Racef) between the 10th and the 12th of November.
The Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras (Racef) will be hosting next November 11 and 12 in Barcelona the IV International conference of the Franco-Australian Centre for International Research in Management (FACIREM) under the title of “Globalisation and Government”. Recognised specialists of 11 nationalities and 12 universities will analyse the response that national and international institutions should offer to economic and financial globalisation.
The President of the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras (Racef), His Excellency Dr. Jaime Gil Aluja, and the President of the Republic of Srpska of Bosnia Herzegovina and at the same time President of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of this republic of Serbian majority, His Excellency Dr. Rajko Kuzmanovic, this morning in Banja Luka signed an agreement for cooperation between the two institutions.
Eric Maskin has joined this evening the Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences of Spain (RACEF) as Corresponding Academician for The United States a session presided by Ernest Benach, President of the Parliament of Catalonia. The new Academician has read the speech "Mechanism Desing: how to implement social goals", where he has introduced the applications of his theory of design of mechanisms which cost the Nobel prize of Economy in 2007.

The renowned North American economist, His Excellency Dr. Eric Maskin Nobel Prize winner for Economy for 2007, will on October 5th next become Foreign Member for the United States of America of the Real Academia de Ciencias Económicas y Financieras (Racef) at a Solemn Act presided over by the President of the Academy Jaime Gil Aluja, who at the same time will be the sponsor for the new Member.
