Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan (Amman, Jordan 1971), graduated at the Courtauld Institute of Art at London University, is an expert archaeologist who has cooperated on projects related to the preservation of the historical patrimony of Jordan. She is the President of the Royal Scientific Society, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the National Museum of Jordan, and Director of the Board of Directors of the Princess Sumaya University of Technology. Likewise she is the Honorary Trustee of the Jordan Computer Society and of several charitable organisations. She is also the President of the Jordanian Handball Federation.
